A2.Sometimes, supplier wants to give the tender sample after tender opening date without any valid reason. As per the rules, tender sample is to be submitted in the tender opening date. Therefore, DGDP do not allow this deviation unless in extreme case.

A5.(1)Apply on your company pad for enlistment form (addressing to DG, DGDP). (2) Attach 02 p.p size photographs and a biodata (English for retired military personnel and Bangla for civilians). (3) Attach 3000/- tk pay order (in favour of DG, DGDP). Please note that enlistment form will be given after approval of DG and applicant needs to collect this form from DGDP registration section.

A7.(a) List of Group A countries- Bangladesh, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy(excluding Artillery Gun System), Japan, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey UK and USA. (b)List of Group B countries- Argentina, Bosnia & Herzegovina Bulgeria, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Ukraine. (c)List of Group C countries-Algeria, Belarus, Egypt, India, Iran, KSA, Mexico, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Paraguay, Philippines UAE, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezueala and Vietnam.

A8.You will get all kinds of information at the time of enlistment through Registration Branch and DP-35.

A9.Training will not be free of cost. A reference price have to be given in case, if a a later stage, decision is made by the buyer not to take whole or part of those goods/services, the quoted price shown against those goods/services shall be deducted from the FOB value for determining the lowest bidder/total contract value.

A10.Applicant has to submit 03 copies each of the following documents: 1. Enlistment form. 2. Bio-data of the proprietor/all partners if limited or partnership company. N.B : English Bio-data for ex military personnel and Bangla for civilians. Moreover, for limited or partnership company the following papers (3 copies each) from serial 3 to 10 are applicable for every partner. 3 Nationality certificate 4 Character Certificate 5 National ID copy 6 S.S.C certificate 7 Moveable and immoveable property statement 8 Undertaking 9 Allegiance certificate to government. 10 No legal allegation certificate. 11 Affidavit in 300tk stamp. 12 Company Trade License. 13 Company TIN. 14. Company VAT. 15. Company Bank solvency Certificate. 16. Company 06 months bank statement. 17. Import Registration Certificate (Optional). 18. Indenting Certificate (Optional). 19. Membership Certificate from chamber of commerce/Indenting agent association (Optional). 20. Memorandum of article and form XII (If limited company). Further action will be taken after submission of the above mentioned papers.

A11.LD means liquidated damage. To recover liquidated damages when the Government (Competent Purchase Officer on behalf of the Government) is satisfied that the failure to supply the stores within the scheduled delivery period has been for reasons within the control of the suppliers, and / or if the Government has suffered loss for reasons of delayed delivery. These liquidated damages, if imposed, will be recovered at the rate of 2% but not less than 1% of the value of unsupplied quantity of the item(s) per month for the period exceeding the original delivery period, subject to the provision that the total liquidated damages will not exceed 10% of the total contract value.

A12.Delay in the supply of stores upto 21 days will be regarded as “Grace Period” available to the supplier and the delivery date will be considered to have been automatically extended upto that limit without issuance of any formal amendment and payment of any liquidated damages. For delays beyond 21 days formal amendment to the delivery period will be calculated from the original delivery date given in the contract.

A13.No, it is strictly forbidden. You can use separate tag for identifications of your firms with the sample.

A14.For the tenders of food items supplier need to deposit financial offer, earnest money and technical offer in three separate envelopes.

A15.In case of food item tenders, 3% earnest money is taken from the supplier as security money. After the opening of financial offer all the earnest money is given back to the supplier except lowest & 2nd lowest bidder. After signing the contract lowest & 2nd lowest bidder can take back their earnest money.

A16.All type of Electromedical Equipment & All type of Veterinary Medicine, Chemical & Reagent, Medicine & Appliance & Disposable -10%. • Food item -10%. • Hygiene & Chemical-5%. • Uncontrol Stores – 1% to 5% (Basing on the total cost of items to be contracted). • Computer, Office Equipment & Stationery -1% to 5% (Basing on the total cost of items to be contracted).

A17.If the supplier failed to supply the contracted items within the (Grace period 21 days is excluded) delivery period than LD may be imposed as per rules.

A18.After enlistment supplier must pass one year and materialize a contract then he may apply to registration Branch for enlistment in group 4 & 10.

A19.PG must be submitted in foreign currency against foreign contract.

A20.The country where Bangladesh embassy/Counsellor office is not available, only then EUC may be handed over to the Local Agent.
